Die waagrechte Hinundherbewegung der Stochstangen erfolgt durch eine Preßluftvorrichtung, die an einem Ring angreift, der um den Ofen läuft und die schrägen Preßluftmotoren samt Stochstangen trägt. Die Preßluftzylinder i sind in einem Winkel von 45' an den beweglichen Tragring 2 mittels Pratzen 4 des Gehäuses 3 befestigt. Am Ende jeder Kolbenstange 5 der Preßluftmotoren sitzt ein Zahnrad 7, (dessen Achse in einem Schlitz 6 geführt wird. Das Zahnrad greifteinerseits in die feste Zahnstange 8, andererseits in die bewegliche Zahnstange 9 ein. Letztere ist mittels des um 12 drehbaren Doppelbügels i i mit dem Stochstanggenpaare io verbunden. Der Weg der Stocheisen wird ebenso wie ihre Geschwindigkeit in bezug auf den Preßkolben verdoppelt.
