Coil for high frequency induction furnaces During the manufacture of the coils
for induction furnaces, in particular high-frequency induction furnaces, is known
the disadvantage of reducing the ohmic losses by increasing the cross-section of the line
can not decrease, because as a result of the current displacement, especially at high
Frequencies, only the inner part of the coil is used for power conduction. Now it is
it is known that high-frequency coils are used to avoid the increase in resistance
can use divided and twisted high-frequency stranded wire by current displacement,
however, the use of such braid in induction furnaces has not yet been proposed
because the storage of the coil and the arrangement of a suitable cooling device
Made trouble. The present invention overcomes this drawback
in that initially from a highly thermally conductive material, preferably from one
Metal band, a support or support frame is formed, which on the one hand for receiving
and serves to carry the braid and, on the other hand, at the same time to dissipate the heat
is used. The band used for the supporting structure is preferably given a U-shape
Profile, placing the closed sides of the [J inwards and the braid
near this wall so that (he strand over a: large part of your

can.
Although it is known per se, the coil for induction furnaces is in two parts,
d. H. from the same; The coil forming the wire and interposed between them
Plates or profiles for heat dissipation to manufacture. But what is new is through
the union of a coil made of high-frequency stranded wire with a fixed supporting structure
the use of such high-frequency braid for induction furnaces enable and at the same time
to have created intensive cooling.

The high-frequency litz wire A is used to conduct electricity. This litz wire is
Executed twisted in a known manner in order to achieve that always new Strombahpen
-be brought close to the center of the coil in order to counteract the current displacement.
The individual wires of the strand are insulated from each other.
A spool made of one serves as a supporting or supporting structure for the stranded wire

against the inner closed wall of the profile. Between the individual turns
of the supporting structure there are insulating strips C made of a suitable material. The scaffolding
is in the usual way by screws a. Like. Pressed together, so that it is a

Of course, another suitable profile can also be selected for the supporting structure
as long as it is only suitable to offer the strand sufficient support.
