Abblendbarer Scheinwerfer Die Erfindung betrifft einen abblendbaren Scheinwerfer mit einer zusammen mit einem Teil des Reflektors aus dem Brennpunkt zurückziehbaren Lichtquelle. Scheinwerfer dieser Art sind bereits in den mannigfaltigsten Konstruktionen bekannt. In weitaus den meisten Fällen hat man in den Reflektor oder zwischen Reflektor und Lampengehäuse noch ein weiters zvlindrisches Gehäuse eingebaut, in das hinein die Lichtquelle beim Abblenden zurückgezogen wurde. Die Nachteile solcher Konstruktion bestehen darin, daß einerseits der Umbau einer gewöhnlichen Lampe nicht ohne weiteres möglich ist, d. h. nur von fachkundiger Hand ausgeführt werden kann, und andererseits ein zentrales konzentriertes Lichtstrahlenbündel geliefert wird, welches unter Umständen noch genau so blenden kann wie die nicht abgeblendete Lampe. Ein anderer Vorschlag ging wiederum dahin, die Lichtquelle in ein hinten an das Lampengehäuse angebautes zweites Gehäuse vollständig zurückzuziehen. Das wiederum hat den Nachteil, daß der Hauptreflektor bei abgeblendet°r Lampe ganz außer Funktion tritt und, wenngleich auch die Fahrt bei abgeblendeten Scheinwerferlampen erheblich reduziert werden mag, die Beleuchtung der Fahrbahn doch immer eine sehr ungenügende sein muß. Eine noch andere Konstruktion sieht eine Lichtquelle vor, die, gelenkig montiert, in Leinen der Größe der Lichtquelle entsprechend dimensionierten Ausschnitt des Reflektors zurückgeschwenkt werden kann.
