Anti-slip protection for tripod feet Around the feet or ends of tripods
To prevent slipping, various devices have already been proposed
been, among other things, plate-shaped bodies that act as anti-slip protection on the tripod feet
be attached.
Halt.In such a plate-shaped anti-slip protection for tripod feet is based
the innovation according to the invention is that the plate serving as an anti-skid plate
Double sided is to use them on one side with points and on
its other side is provided with a rubber pad and further in its center
has a recess in which a hollow cone piece for inserting the St @ ativfußes of
can be pushed in or screwed in on both sides. This tripod shoe is main
intended for the use of tripods indoors, for stone and wooden floors,
z. B. in photographic recordings with a longer exposure time, so in those
(read the tripod to maintain its steady position for a long time and prevent it from sliding
must become. Other known tripod feet that have a tip against a rubber part
interchangeable, do not have such a wide contact surface and therefore not such a good one
Stop.

zu Abb. 4.The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing, for example.
It shows Ahb. i a side view of the anti-skid, fig.z a ground plan for fig.
i and on a smaller scale, Fig. 3 a section along the line A-B of Fig. 2,
Fig. 4 is a plan view with points pointing upwards and Fig. 5 is a side view
to Fig. 4.
The anti-skid consists of a main body (plate) a with short,
steel points b, one on which are fixed symmetrically on the circumference of the plate surface
the other plate surface arranged, preferably flat ring-shaped-oak covering
c, z. B. made of rubber, and a recess d; also a cone body e, the cone angle
a opens into a hole and which has an external thread f.
man ihn z. -Man faßt
in den Kegelkörper ein (Abb. i und 3).In Fig. I the anti-skid is arranged so that the cone body
a is screwed concentrically into the surface facing away from the tips, so that
one him z. B. can be used to secure tripods on wooden floors. -You can get hold of it
the anti-skid on the cone body e and presses the short steel tips where they are
Leg of the tripod should come into the floor and set the leg of the tripod
into the cone body (Fig. i and 3).
In Abb. i ist nun ein denkbar ungünstigster Stand wiedergegeben. An
zurückstehen, also ein
vermeiden. In Fig. I, the worst possible situation is shown. At
This is to prove that the anti-skid plate is absolutely stuck to the floor
will. So if the center of the stand base would make an angle of 45 ° to the floor surface
then the stand base would still be centered by the amount M 'from the center of the tip
stand back, so a
Tilting the plate is out of the question.
Even if the usual tripod tips have a larger diameter X than in Fig.
r is .lyeben, a distance 1T would still come into question.
It should also be mentioned that the actual resulting pressure direction R des
whole tripod, as can be seen in Fig. r, is composed of vertical
Pressure caused by the weight of the tripod, and from the pressure going in the direction
the center of the stand foot is effective. So it becomes the anti-skid plate a from the tripod itself
printed firmly against the floor. The cone angle a is smaller than 9o °, thus a
Jumping out of the mostly rounded tripod ends is prevented. The recess
d is only used to level out any unevenness in the floor.
Fig. 5 shows the anti-skid when used on a flat stone floor. The cone body
e enters the plate from the opposite side, from the tip surface
screwed in so that the surface with the guimmia pad faces down. The application
is exactly the same as with the wooden floor, except that here the rubber flooring takes the place of the tips
rests on the floor. Preferably, the rubber is not over the entire surface of the
Plate a distributed, but is only applied as a flat ring (Fig. 3). Dias hole in the
The cone body e at the end of the cone cone is only intended to fix the protection
avoid.
