Zu diesem Zwecke wird das Papier mit Stearin, Paraffin u. dgl. in festem oder pulverförmigem Zustand behandelt, wobei diese Stoffe in zerkleinertem Zustand fein verteilt auf das Papier aufgestrichen werden. Die Stoffe werden danach sowohl in festem wie auch in gelöstem Zustand übertragen. Der Nachteil der bisher bekannten Verfahren besteht darin, daß diese Papiere nach der Behandlung nicht bedruckt und beschrieben werden können. Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung, welche zur Herstellung von dehnungsfreiem, druck- und#'schreibfähigem Papier durch Auftrag. von Paraffin in festem Zustand dient. Im besonderen ist die Erfindung gekennzeichnet durch eine umlaufende zylindrische Bürste, die das Paraffin in feinen Mengen von einem festen Block abnimmt und auf das über einen Tisch geführte Papier aufbürstet bzw. aufspritzt. Alsdann wird erfindungsgemäß das Paraffin durch eine oder mehrere weitere umlaufende Bürsten fein und gleichmäßig in das Papier eingebürstet und durch eine erwärmte Fläche, z.
