Die Reuse unterscheidet sich von bekannten Setzreusen und ähnlichen Geräthen dadurch, dafs sie sternförmig gebildet ist, so dafs Fische, von welcher Seite und in welcher Höhe sie auch kommen mögen, einen Eingang finden, während die Einlasse durch eigenthümliche federnde Anordnung und Lage der einzelnen Ruthen den ungehinderten Eintritt gestatten, aber den Austritt verwehren.
