Truss pad The invention relates to a truss pad
inner bolt guide surrounded by a compression spring and an outer one, the compression spring
enclosing sleeve guide, and consists essentially in that the pad head
is connected to the fastener guide by means of a ball joint that allows for evasion
of the pad head in all angular directions and a corners in the guide
prevented. The guide sleeve for the outer guide cylinder surrounding the ball joint
tapers conically towards the latter, so that the cylinder the inclinations
can follow the inner fastener guide. The guide pin of the ball joint having
The outer end of the inner guide penetrates a cover which is fastened by means of a twist lock
fits into a cutout of the pad shield.
tragen. The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely: Fig. 1 shows the pad in a cross section, Fig. 2 is a plan view of the pad head. The pad head a shows the usual, unevenly curved hood shape and consists of a metal cap with an axial guide sleeve b-bl and an outer, cylindrical extension c. In the pad there is a corresponding recess into which a helical spring d is inserted, on which the pad head rests and which is supported against the pad base plate e-el so that the pad head can yield against the action of this spring. The axial guide sleeve b-bl of the pad head slides on a bolt f, which is attached to the base plate e-el, while the outer cylindrical extension c slides in a sleeve inserted into the pad. So that the pad head can yield not only in the perpendicular direction to the base plate, but also in all angular directions to the perpendicular, the axial guide sleeve bb 'is divided and a ball joint b2 is installed between the two parts. The outer guide approach c of the pad head does not get stuck in its guide sleeve g when it swings out to the side, because the wall of the latter is conically shaped, as shown in Fig. I. It is advantageous to be able to replace the spring d. For this purpose, the base plate has an opening within the guide sleeve g, and this can be closed by means of a cover e1 with a rotary lock. The twist lock can, for. B. be formed by two tabs 1a on the cover plate e1 and two recesses i in the opening edge of the base plate. The lid is pressed in with its flap la through the recesses i and rotated by 90 °. The cover disk can at the same time carry the guide pin f for the axial guide sleeve b1 of the pad head.
