Recording apparatus for moving images The invention relates to a recording apparatus
for motion pictures and has the purpose of creating a facility
the one automatic focusing when taking pictures of the stationary
Recording apparatus approaching objects is brought about. With a moving recording device
while recording the focus of the lens when changing the distance
to adjust automatically is already the subject of an older patent.
According to the invention, one acts on the lens shutter and the film circuit
of the receiving apparatus acting part, in particular the usual receiving crank, through
an intermediate gear at the same time on the lens in such a way that it is of the photosensitive
Area is removed in accordance with the approach of the subject or vice versa,
so that the subject (in particular one approaching the recording apparatus
Person) is always almost in focus without stopping down.
The invention is illustrated by the drawing and in somewhat schematic form
reproduced, namely Fig. i shows a front view of an embodiment,
Fig. Z is a side view, Fig. 3 is an individual part partially in section. Fig.q.
is an illustration for a second embodiment according to Fig. i, Fig. 5 a
Side view corresponding to Fig. 2 for a further embodiment. The pick-up crank
i of the known type of recording apparatus, not shown, on the shaft: 2 acts
by means of a helical gear 3 on a second helical gear q., which is on a shaft
5 sits. From this shaft 5 in any suitable known manner
The switching and exposure mechanism of the recording apparatus is influenced. Sitting on shaft 5
at the same time a gear 6 of quite considerable width, which meshes with
a ring gear 7, which is attached to the lens 8. The lens ring g is
in a known manner and likewise only indicated by way of example in the drawing
equipped with a screw socket. With the help of this mount the lens
away from the recording surface when a close object is to be recorded or
brought up to the light-sensitive layer up to the focal length of the lens, if
they are recordings of distant objects. The objective part usually has 8
for setting a hand lever io, by means of which part 8 can be rotated
can.
verbleibt.
By means of a gear connection between crank i and lens part 8, an automatic shift of lens 8 is now brought about in the sense of a gradual removal from the image surface when, by turning the crank, recordings of an object approaching the apparatus, e.g. B. an approaching person. The gear ratio, which can optionally be changed by an adjustable intermediate gear, is selected according to the needs, such that, for example, a person approaching the apparatus, who is at a distance of 6 m for the first crank rotation and at a distance for the second crank rotation for example, 4m and in the third turn of the crank at a distance of for example 2 m is taken up by the lens, is always imaged at near full sharpness, without it being necessary to stop down the lens for such recordings. With each turn of the crank, the wheel 6, by engaging in the wheel 7, causes a corresponding rotation of the lens in its screw mount and removes it from the light-sensitive layer. Slipping clutches or the like can expediently be provided in the transmission in order to be able to bring about an adjustment of the lens in the screw mount independently of the crank drive. In the example, Fig. 3 shows how the toothed wheel 6 is coupled to the shaft 5 by a helical spring ii. The spring sits with slight friction on the cylindrical end 1, 2 of the shaft 5 and is supported against a collar 13. Its free end 14 engages in a lateral hole in the small wheel 6. If the shaft is rotated from the crank in the direction of the arrow drawn in, the spring is wound up and consequently acts like a screw belt coupling. When turning in the opposite direction, on the other hand, the spring coils are loosened, and consequently no dragging occurs or ' the lens can be rotated by moving the handle io in this direction without the crank having to rotate. If necessary, the device can be used in such a way that when the crank is turned in one direction, the lens is influenced in the sense of focusing on the approaching object, while when the crank is turned in the opposite direction. Direction the lens remains in its setting position. While the device according to Fig. I and 2 works using conventional gear ratios, in such a way that an equal number of crank rotations also corresponds to a proportional movement of the lens, in the embodiment according to Fig. 4 a gear has been provided in which instead of the gear 6 and the ring gear 7 on the lens a kind of rack and pinion gearing 16, 17 occurs, which is designed such that the adjustment of the lens when recording a person approaching the apparatus with the first turns of the crank. is only slight, on the other hand it increases as the person approaches the apparatus. In the example, the driving wheel 16 is provided with engaging teeth 18, 19, 20, 21 arranged at different angular distances. These teeth are distributed at the circumference of the wheel 16, that "is reached the desired movement relationship between the lens and crank readily. This type of transmission, which could of course also sit at another point between the crank and the lens, allows that the lens is almost mathematically exactly at the distance from the light-sensitive surface which corresponds to the image distance of the object. In the embodiment according to Fig. 5, a device is also provided which ensures that the lens 8 is always exactly at the correct focal length , which ensures a sharp image of the object to be photographed. A spring (not shown) tries to constantly push the effective lens part 8 outwards with projecting thorns 25,26 etc. of the lens part 8 together ken. The effective objective part8 can simply be displaced in a telescopic manner, but can be thought of as being unrotatable. The mandrels 25, 26 are arranged in their distance axially to the lens so that, for. B. the mandrel 25 corresponds to the distance 7 m, the village i: 26 corresponds to the distance 6 m, etc. When the apparatus is put into operation, the transport wing 22 acts on the mandrel 25 z. B. immediately before releasing the shutter for the first recording. Immediately before completion of the next turn of the crank, corresponding to the second release of the shutter, the wing 23 then pushes the lens to the distance 6m by means of the pin 26. . Corresponding location, etc. The device could also be made so that, for. B. on the shaft 5 only one provided with a cutout stop disc is provided, and that this allows one of the mandrels a5, 26 to pass with each crank rotation. A spring, not shown, would constantly seek to remove the effective lens part 8 from the photosensitive layer, and the locking device consisting of thorns and stop disk on the shaft 5 would ensure that the lens only ever follow this spring pressure at intervals according to the desired change in focal length able. Deviations from the embodiment shown are within the scope of the invention. So z. B. in place of the screw mount of the lens another adjustment of the lens mount can be used. Furthermore, an optional decoupling of the gear wheel sitting on the lens; be made by the drive in such a way that the ring gear 7 is arbitrarily coupled to the lens part 8 or made detachable therefrom.
