Securing for screw nuts and screw heads It is known
To provide nuts and screw heads with an undercut recess
and to allow the edge lugs attached to the washer to engage in the latter,
freely rotatable around the screw nut or the screw head with the washer,
but to connect axially immovable. Furthermore, double nuts are undercut
Known recesses in which a closed inserted between the two nuts
Ring or a closed ring attachment attached to one nut when screwing together
the nuts are pressed in and bent outwards. While in the former case
the rotatable connection of nut or screw head and washer in front of the
Unscrewing is done by hand and no actual screw locking
is intended, it is in the second case a connection of two
Screw nuts through an undivided ring or ring shoulder. - Subject matter of the present
Invention is a fuse for nuts and screw heads, in the same
a washer with raised edges is used, which is cut into a

however, the interrupted edge approach is secured against rotation
Washer when tightening the nut or cap screw by engagement
with an inner conical surface of the undercut attached to the nut or head screw
Recess automatically against the outer surface of the undercut recess
and locked to this, allowing rotation of the nut and washer
is made impossible against each other.

In figure z, a is the bolt, b is the nut, and c is the washer. The screw nut b is provided with a recess d known per se, while the washer b has a raised edge projection f which is slotted at one or more points at g. The washer c is secured against rotation in that it z. B. angular (fig. 6 and 7), flattened on one side (fig. Io, ii and 1q. To i6), with recesses h (fig. 8 and 9) or with elevations or notches i (fig. I2 and 13) which come into engagement with corresponding fixed parts of the links to be screwed and are thereby held in place. In the recesses h (Fig. 8 and j) z. B. engage retaining latch, not shown, while the cam-like projections i (Fig. Iz to 1q.) Can engage in corresponding recesses of the mounting base. The recess d of the nut a is double-tapered, ie there are two tapered surfaces m, n (Fig. 3). The edge approach f of the washer c is beveled at its edge at k corresponding to the conical surfaces of the nut recess d. When the nut b is screwed on, the interrupted edge set f of the washer c secured against rotation comes into engagement with its beveled edge 1a with the inner conical surface n of the nut recess d, whereby, due to its slot g, it automatically moves outwards against the undercut surface m of the nut a is pressed and locked with this. The more slots g the edge approach f of the washer c has, the better the permanent connection with the nut b, because on the one hand when the edge approaches are bent, a flattening of the same occurs and on the other hand the material of the nut edge in the. the slots between the edge approaches, whereby a kind of interlocking of the interrupted edge approach of the washer with the nut takes place. The edge approaches f can also have a certain inherent resilience by which they are pressed outwards.
