Das Wesentliche aber ist, daß beim Erkalten des Kesseltrommelendes 2 durch radiale und axiale Schrumpfung eine sichere Befestigung und Abdichtung des Deckels erreicht wird. Um die Abdichtung und die Festigkeit der Verbindung für Hochdruckbetrieb geeignet zu machen, müssen nach der Einbringung des Deckels außen Schrumpfringe 4 über das Kesseltrommelende 2 aufgezogen werden, wodurch sich auch die Spannungen in der Wand des Kesseltrommelendes ausgleichen und ein Aufweiten unter hohem Druck verhütet wird. .Fig. Ι the drawing shows an embodiment of this type of boiler, in which the drum 1 at its end 2 with a Dekas angle 3 is to be sealed.
