Description
Magnetic sheet with an insulating coating made of hardening material, such as linseed oil, synthetic resin or the like, especially for electrical equipment L m die eddy current losses in the cores of electrical apparatus. z. B. transformers, electric motors etc., you have laminated the cores and each individual sheet with insulation material overdrawn. As a material for such a protective cover. the one by spraying or rolling. it is well known that rubber or resinous substances are used, for example also condensation resins.
It has now turned out. that the insulating coating in the great pressure with which the sheets of a core are pressed together. to flow begins. This greatly reduces the insulation value of the protective coating.
According to the invention, this disadvantage is avoided. that, man The insulating protective coating made of hardening material is made of linseed oil. Synthetic resin or the like (ier 'ia-netbleche a solid insulation material in finely divided Form clogs. and that is used for this purpose, for. B. China clay (kaolin). Silica, mica and the like. The amount of solid insulation material additives is advantageous about 20 ° '.- Jer total insulation mass. In experiments with those treated in this way Sheets have been made, it has been found that the eddy current losses are only about half the size of the previously known insulating coatings. Furthermore, the electrical resistance of a body of sheet metal with the coating according to the invention about ten times as large as that of a body of sheet metal with a the known coatings without the addition of solid insulation materials.
