Dieser Schlitz wird an der Aufsenseite der Jalousie vori einem Mundstück b umgeben, dessen Fufsplatte zugleich den das Licht von dem Kasteninnern absperrenden Schieber c umschliefst. Ein Paar in der Zeichnung nicht sichtbare Federn halten den Schieber geschlossen, d. h. wie in Fig. 3 den Schlitz in der Jalousie verdeckend, so lange die Cassette an die Camera nicht angeschlossen ist.
