Diese Fehler der Quarzplatten sind darauf zurückzuführen, daß bei dem Ausschneiden der Platten einzelne Siliziummoleküle bei der Sprengung der einzelnen Zellen an den Oberflächen der \ achbarzellen haften geblieben sind und dadurch die Zellen an ihrer pnezo-elektrischen Wirkung behindern.
