Zweck der vorliegenden Neuerung ist die Ermöglichung, durch eine verhältiiifsmäfsig geringe Kraft das unter Druck stehende Ventil eines Dampfwasser-Ableiters zu öffnen. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dafs zunächst mittelst eines verhältnifsmä'fsig langen Hebels ein Drehschieber um einen kleinen Winkel gedreht wird, wodurch das Hauptventil entlastet wird, und dafs hierauf der Drehpunkt des bereits erwähnten Hebels verlegt wird, um das Oeffhen des Ventils selbst durch dieselbe Kraft zu ermöglichen. Der Hebel B ist mittelst Schraube M in dem Ventilkörper E gelagert und mit dem Drehschieber A fest verbunden. Die Verlängerung desselben trägt eine Rolle C. Während der weiteren Bewegung des Schwimmers H legt sich die Rolle C an den Ventilsitz N an und dient dem Hebel B als Drehpunkt, so dafs nun der mit dem Hebel B verbundene Ventilkörper E von dem Ventilsitz .2V entfernt wird. Die Oeffnung x, Fig. 1, und das Ventil y, Fig. 2, dienen zur Beseitigung der Luft in der Hülse L bezw. dem Topfe.
