An der unter No. 38850 patentirten Cigarren-Bündel- und Prefsmaschine hat es sich als Uebelstand herausgestellt, dafs die* ganze Maschine aus einem zusammenhängenden Stück besteht. Es soll deshalb nunmehr die Maschine aus zwei von einander zu trennenden Theilen, einem Obertheil b und einem Untertheil a, Fig. ι, hergestellt werden, von denen der Obertheil b den Zweck hat, die zu bündelnden Cigarren aufzunehmen, während der Untertheil die Bündelung und Pressung, sowie die Aufhebung der Pressung bewirkt.At the under No. In 38850 patented cigar bundling and prefing machines, it has been found to be an inconvenience that the whole machine consists of one connected piece. Auch ist es nun nicht mehr nöthig, will man eine neue Form einsetzen, die alte herauszunehmen, sondern man braucht einfach die neue Form in die alte hineinzusetzen und einzuschachteln; dadurch kann eine Formveränderung des Bündlers in kürzester Zeit und ohne weitere Umstände vorgenommen werden. Behufs Feststellung der Formen sind dieselben unten mit einem Stift versehen; derselbe wird in den Boden eingesteckt. Aufserdem sind die Formen an beiden Seiten mit je einem Loch versehen, welche Löchern an dem Obertheil entsprechen.
