Die heute üblichen Kohle- und Durch-:chreibepapiere sind durch Anstrich einer zum Teil echten, aber hauptsächlich kolloidalen Lösung und Suspension von Anilin und Pigment- (Lack-) Farben in Fetten. Ölen und Wachsen auf Papier hergestellt.
