Die zur Zeit übliche Befestigung des Schläuche auf einem Schlauehschloß mittels Drahtbindung ist nur dann haltbar, wenn sie von geübter Hand ausgeführt wird, da bei Ausführung durch Ungeübte die Bindung entweder zu fest, so daß der dünne Bindedraht das Schlauchgewebe zerschneidet, oder zu locker, so daß der Schlauch bald abrutscht, angezogen wird; auch bricht bei falscher Bindung der Draht meist an der Bindestelle ab.
