Diesen Übelstand zu beseitigen, ist der Zweck der Erfindung; sie besteht im wesentlichen darin, daß auf der Ofensohle eine Lage lose nebeneinanderliegender Sohlsteine angeordnet ist, deren Fugen mit einem nicht abbindenden Material, beispielsweise mit Silbersand, au§gefüllt werden können. Die losen Sohlsteine werden dabei zweckmäßig mit unteren runden Ecken ausgeführt, so daß sie sich leicht auf die festliegende Steinlage schieben 1< ssen, die natürlich besonders sorgfältig ausgeführt sein muß. Ein leichtes Herausnehmen etwa schadhaft gewordener Sohlsteine läßt sich durch eine geringe Verjüngung der Steine nach unten erreichen.
