Die Erfindung bezweckt die Schaffung eines Werkes für Weckeruhren, das für die allerwenigsten Teile die Verwendung von Messing benötigt und so durchgebildet ist, daß die zu seiner Herstellung erforderlichen Arbeitsvorgänge gegenüber denjenigen der bisherigen sogenannten amerikanischen Wecker wesentlich verringert sind. Um dies zu erreichen und damit einen Wecker zu schaffen, der hinsichtlich seiner Konkurrenzfähigkeit als Massenartikel der Uhrenbranche mit den bekannten Fabrikaten weitgehendste Garantie bietet, wurde der bisherige Weg der Werkausführung verlassen und ein neuer Weg beschritten, der nicht nur zu einer Verbilligung der Herstellung führt, sondern neben anderen Vorteilen durch weitgehende Gewichtsverminderung des Weckers auch eine wesentliche Verbilligung im Versand der Uhren, besonders nach dem Auslande hin, herbeiführt.Alarm clockwork.
