In dem Hauptpatent ist ein Verfahren beschrieben, durch welches normales Aluminium, also verhältnismäßig reines Aluminium, in Gestalt von Blechen oder Bändern mit Eisen- oder Stahlbändern oder solchen Platten in kaltem Zustand nur durch den Druck der Walzen eines Kaltwalzwerkes vereinigt wird und dann die vereinigten Bänder durch -weiteres Walzen in einen dünnen Mehrfachmetallstreifen übergeführt werden. Das Verfahren bietet u. a. den Vorteil, daß ein auf diese Weise entstandenes 11lehrfachmetallband durch Weiterwalzen ohne Anwendung von Wärme bis auf verhältnismäßig geringe Dicken herabgewalzt werden kann, wie dies sonst bei gewöhnlichen Eisen- oder Stahlbändern nur unter öfterem Zwischenglühen möglich ist.Production of aluminum cladding on iron or steel sheets or tapes.
