Process for the extraction of chlorine lead and nitrates from lead-containing, -by

be refilled. The mother liquor containing potassium nitrate and "some potassium chloride
is evaporated to such an extent that only potassium nitrate crystallizes out during cooling,
while the remaining end liquor containing potassium chlorine is fed into the process for the purpose

If you use this method to process lead-containing products that are in addition to

During the subsequent acid work, the consumption of nitric acid would be corresponding

Beispiel i.Example i.
= PbSO4+ CaC12.
A zinc- and lead-containing gravel burn was dezincified after previous chlorinating equipment. The caustic residue still contained 5.5 percent Pb as lead sulfate and 0.8 percent Ca0 as calcium sulfate. 10000 kg of this material with 550 kg of Pb and 80 kg of CaO were used for defleading. Hot water was placed on the material used, which contained 80 kg of CaO as calcium sulfate, was allowed to circulate through the material and kept at 70 to 80 ° C. Little by little, raw chlorine lead was added in an amount corresponding to the amount of lime, namely about 40o kg PbC12. The chlorine lead was dissolved and the following reaction occurred with the gypsum finely distributed in the burn: PbC12 + CaS04 = PbSO4 + CaC12. If the solution was examined at short intervals, one could see that the lead content decreased rapidly, while the calcium chloride content increased in the same proportion. After there was no more lead in the solution, a little more chlorine lead was added until lead was clearly and permanently detectable. That was the sign that the reaction had ended and all of the gypsum had been converted to soluble calcium chloride. The solution was then pulled out and the burn-off was washed free of lime with warm water. All that was left in the burn was lead as lead sulphate and no plaster of paris and could proceed in accordance with the main patent.
Beispiel 2.Example 2.
2 40o kg entsäuerter Bleikammerschlamm mit i ooo kg Blei und i i o
Dann
Dann wurde im Sinne des Hauptpatentes weiter verfahren.2 40o kg of deacidified lead chamber sludge with 100 kg of lead and 100 kg of calcium sulphate should be processed according to the method of the main patent on pure chlorine lead and potassium nitrate. The amount corresponding to 100 kg of calcium sulfate = about 230 kg of lead chlorine was added to the lead chamber sludge as in the previous embodiment and stirred at about 75 ° C. for one hour. The sludge was then washed out by decanting four times, for which 12 cbm of water were used. Then proceeding in the sense of the main patent was continued.
