Die Erflndung bezieht sich insbesondere auf Prüfeinrichtungen für das erfolgte Klarschreiben des Querzählwerkes, die in einer Sperrung des für die Rechenarbeit bestimmten Getriebes bestehen. Während bisher eine Sperrung, die bei nicht erfolgtem Leerschreiben des Quer-Zählwerkes selbsttätig zur Wirkung kam, von Hand ausgelöst werden konnte, hat die Erfindung Einrichtungen zum Gegenstande, durch die eine Aufhebung der Sperrung nur nach vorangegangener Berichtigung des Ergebnisses möglich ist und dann selbsttätig eintritt. Zur Kontrolle des Klarschreibens wird in Verbindung mit der Sperrung ein Hilfszeichen (Klarzeichen), wie z. B. ein Stern, hinter der die letzte Rechnungsziffer schreibenden Taste angewendet.
