Spritzvergaser.
abzusperren.Injection carburetor. The invention relates to a carburetor in which the
So-called air funnel with the nozzle chamber except through the usual spray opening
through, a special opening communicates. This particular opening serves
generally not for fuel supply, but for regulating the negative pressure
in the nozzle chamber. She is now according to. the invention kept much further
as the actual fuel outlet opening and: has
to the
Obstruction of the own fuel delivery to the atomizer nozzle a one-sided effect
Resistance. The elevation of the confluence of the acts as a static resistance
widen. Channel into the nozzle chamber, also can be an automatic in the wide channel
Non-return devices are installed to direct the flow in the direction of the nozzle chamber-air funnel
shut off.
Such a carburetor is shown schematically in the figure.
The fuel emerges from the float housing i through the bore 2 and fuel nozzle
3 in the nozzle chamber ¢, where also - in a known manner through air nozzle 5 and bore
6 brake air flows from the outside.
Hauptbrennstoff liefert. Außerdem ist ein. besonders weiter Kanal i i vorgesehen,
There are two for the primary mixture to pass into the suction channel
Bores 7 and 8 provided. The bore 7 opens at the throttle 9 and delivers
the Leerlaaffuel, while the hole 8 opens in the air funnel i o and the
Main fuel supplies. Also is a. particularly wide channel i i provided,
as well as 8 den. Air funnel io with the nozzle chamber q. connects. To disability
the fuel delivery through this channel is, for example, a non-return valve, e
12 attached.
When idling and in the middle throttle range, the primary mixture exits at the throttle; as a result of the greatest negative pressure prevailing there. While in other carburetors the channel 7 or a so-called idling nozzle used there must be selected relatively narrow in order not to get too much fuel into idling due to the great negative pressure. in the present case, the bore 7 or a nozzle arranged there can be selected much wider. Because .the effective high induced draft is caused by the inflow of air through the channel i z into the nozzle chamber q. reduced to the practically desirable level. The fact that the channel 7 can be chosen much wider with this arrangement than with the known other carburetors, has the consequence that the fuel charge through this channel does not practically cease at a low throttle opening, but in the whole lower and middle Throttle range persists.
