Stimmenplatte für Mundharmonika. Bei Summenplatten von 11Zundhaxmonikas, die mit sehr vielen einzelnen Stimmen versehe. sind, z. B. bei denjenigen der Konzertharmonikas mit bis zu 40 Stimmen, hat man schon zur Verminderung der sonst beim Blasen erforderlichen großen Luftmenge vorgeschlagen, die Stimrnenschlitze auf der der Zunge gegenüberliegenden Seite durch über sie gelegte, an ihren oberen oder unteren Enden befestigte lose Lederstreifen so abzudecken, d'aß der Luftdurchtrittsquerschnitt durch diese Lederstireifen gedrosselt wird (die Summenplatten wurden beledert). Dieses Beledern hatte aber wiedex bestimmte Mängel, die darin lagen, daß bei längerer Spieldauer sich infolge des Speichelgehaltes der Blasluft so viel Feuchtigkeit an die Lederklappen niederschlug, daß sie auf den Schlitzen in ihrer ganzen Ausdehnung festklebten.
