Es ist aber auch denkbar, diese Abstützflächen 11 jeweils in der Mitte zusammenstoßen zu lassen, um auf diese Weise eine komplette Bodenfläche zu bilden, die aus der Auflageeinheit ein kastenförmiges Gehäuse bildet, welches als selbständige Transporteinheit dienen kann. Eine besondere Weiterbildung dieses Abstützelementes 3 ist es, daß mindestens einseitig Splittboxträgerleisten 4′ angebracht sind, die mit bekannten Splittboxarretierungssystemen zusammen wirken, so daß die am Markt gängigen Splittboxhälften jeweils links und rechts oder auch nur einseitig mit der Auflage einheit arretiert werden können. Zweckmäßig sind diese Splittboxträgerleisten 4′ schwenkbar an den Seitenteilen gehalten. Sie können auch so ausgebildet sein, daß sie mit jeweils einer Trägerstütze 12 des Gepäckträgers 2 oder des Rahmens 1 arretiert werden und auf diese Weise eine weitere Stabilität erzeugen. Die in Längsrichtung verlaufenden Seitenteile 10 können durch Querstreben 13 miteinander verbunden sein, was ebenfalls zur Stabilitätserhöhung beiträgt. Die Seitenteile 5, 8 weisen zusätzlich nach außen gerichtete Winkelträger und/oder Haken 14 auf, die zur Aufnahme unterschiedlicher Gepäckstücke oder Getränkekästen geeignet sind.
