Description
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Methode, mit der die Lebensdauer von Filtern zur Sterilfiltration erhöht werden kann.The invention relates to a method by which the life of filters for Sterile filtration can be increased.
Filter (1), die zur Sterilfiltration in der Trinkwasseraufbereitung eingesetzt worden, haben Porengrößen im Bereich von 0,5 my und kleiner. Ein Nachteil dieser kleinen Porengrößen besteht darin, daß diese Poren von den in jedem Rohwasser vorhandenen ungelösten Schwebteilchen sehr schnell verstopft werden, wodurch die Lebensdauer des Filters herabgesetzt wird. Dieses Problem läßt sich mit einer Vorfiltration lösen. Herkömmliche Verfahren haben den Nachteil, daß sie zusätzliche Filtereinheiten in abgetrennten Gehäusen oder Patronen benötigen, was den Prozeß der Aufbereitung zusätzlich verteuert und Raumprobleme mit sich bringt. Darüber hinaus sind viele Sterilfilter mit einer Vorfilterschicht (2) auf ihrer Oberfläche versehen, die z. B. aus einem Filterpapier mit etwas gröberer Porenweite als der Hauptfilter besteht. Diese verhindert ein Eindringen eines Teils der Schwebstoffe in den Hauptfilter und verzögert damit dessen Verstopfung. Die Schwebstoffe auf der Oberfläche dieses Papiers sollen leicht abzuspü len sein. Allerdings dringen die Schwebstoffe zu einem gehörigen Anteil in die Papierschicht ein und lassen sich nicht mehr entfernen, was einen entscheidenden Nachteil darstellt.Filters ( 1 ) that have been used for sterile filtration in drinking water treatment have pore sizes in the range of 0.5 my and smaller.
