Abstract

A process for printing onto animal skins, esp. leather, comprises (a) applying a transparent lacquer that is free from natural resins, (b) drying the lacquer, (c) applying a transfer paper coated with dispersion dyes in sublimable low molecular form, (d) applying a printing press. to the substrate at least on the transfer paper, at a temp. of at least 90 deg C (pref. 150-220 deg C) for at least 5 sec. (pref. 5-45 sec.) and (e) removing the transfer paper from the substrate.

Description

Claims (3)

1. Ein Verfahren zum Bedrucken von Tierhäuten, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Schritte:
  • - Aufbringung eines transparenten, von natürlichen Harzen freien Lackes.
  • - Trocknung des aufgebrachten Lackes.
  • - Auflegung eines Transfer-Papieres, beschichtet mit Dispersionsfarb­ stoffen in sublimierender kleinmolekularer Form, auf die Tierhaut.
  • - Aufbringung eines gegen die Unterlage gerichteten Drucks, wenigstens auf das mit Dispersionsfarbstoffen beschichteten Transferpapieres bei einer Temperatur von mehr als 90 Grad Celsius für eine Dauer von wenigstens 5 Sekunden.
  • - Entfernen des Transferpapieres von der Unterlage.
