Der Flaschenverschlufs ist in Fig. 1 der beiliegenden Zeichnung in der Ansicht, in Fig. 2 in seiner Anordnung auf einem Flaschenhals dargestellt.The bottle cap is shown in Fig. 1 of the enclosed Drawing in the view, shown in Fig. 2 in its arrangement on a bottle neck.

Der Verschlufs besteht aus drei Theilen: einem dünnen Metalldeckel a, einem daran befestigten Pfropfen b aus Kork, Kautschuk oder anderem geeigneten elastischen Material und einem Ring c, der aus Draht hergestellt werden kann. Die Anfertigung des Theiles a geschieht in der Weise, dafs man aus einer dünnen Platte von Bronze, Stahl, Eisen oder anderem geeigneten Metall ein Stück ausstanzt, welches die entsprechende kreisrunde Form besitzt. An diesem Metallstück läfst man zwei längere Arme α¹ α², sowie zwei kleine Ansätze dd stehen, und biegt hierauf sowohl die Arme α¹ α², als auch die Ansätze d nach unten in die aus den Fig. 1 und 2 ersichtlichen Stellungen. Die Ansätze d legen sich dabei als Klammern gesen den Kork- oder Kautschukstöpsel b und verbinden letzteren mit der Platte a. Um ein Scharnier für den Ring c zu bilden, wird an einem der beiden Arme a¹ a¹ eine Zunge e ausgeschnitten und unter dieser der Ring hindurchgeführt; hierauf wird das Ende der Zunge an den Arm wieder herangedrückt und der Ring dadurch vor einem Abgleiten von dem Arm gesichert. Wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich, besitzt der andere Arm α², über welchen das freie Ende des Ringes c geklappt wird, eine kleine Erhöhung^/, sowie einen Ansatz g, welch letzterer verhindert, dafs der Ring zu weit bezw. über den Arm a² hinaus schlägt.The closure consists of three parts: a thin metal lid a, an attached plug b made of cork, rubber or other suitable elastic material, and a ring c which can be made of wire. Beim Passiren des Wulstes f drücken sich die beiden Arme α¹ α² nach innen gegen den Rand der Flasche, und die Ansätze h h der Arme legen sich hinter den Flaschenkopf bezw. in eine Vertiefung χ desselben (s. Fig. 2) und halten den Verschlufs in seiner Stellung fest. Gleichzeitig wird dabei der Kork- oder Kautschukstöpsel b infolge der Form des Flaschenkopfes nach unten fest gegen bezw. in die Mündung der Flasche geprefst und auf diese Wöiste ein dichter Verschlufs erzielt. Es ist selbstverständlich, dafs auch andere Ausführungsformen als die dargestellten gewählt werden können, ohne von dem Wesen derselben, das in der Anwendung der federnden Arme a^] a¹ in Verbindung mit dem scharnierartig befestigten Ring / besteht, abzuweichen. Es können z. B. die Arme, sowie die kleineren Klammern besonders hergestellt und auf dem oberen Theil des Verschlusses befestigt, anstatt mit demselben aus einem Stück hergestellt zu werden, und der genannte Obertheil kann aus anderem Material bestehen als die Arme und Klammern.This closure is attached to a bottle neck in such a way that the ring z, as can be seen in FIG. 3, is lifted so that the arms a ⁱ d ¹ can slide over the part χ of the bottle neck.
