Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Corsetstange, welche das Abbrechen derselben bei jeglicher Bewegung des Oberkörpers verhindern soll. Der obere Theil α der in zwei Hälften a und b zerlegten Stange erhält seine Befestigung mittelst der Knöpfe c, welche an dem unteren Theile b vernietet sind. Bei c ist der Theil α mit Schlitzen versehen, wodurch diesem Theile eine geringe Verschiebung auf der unteren Stangenhälfte b gestattet wird. Auf der Rückseite von α ist bei d noch eine kurze Feder e befestigt, welche an ihrem unteren geschlitzten Ende bei / ebenfalls an einem mit b vernieteten Knopf ihre Führung hat. Die Theile a und e sind mithin in ihren Schlitzen bei c und / gleichzeitig auf- und niederverschiebbar. Infolge dieser Einrichtung gleitet je nach der Bewegung des Oberkörpers der Theil α mit e auf b auf- bezw. abwärts. Die Feder e verhindert einerseits ein zu weites Durchbiegen von α bei einer Bewegung nach vorn, andererseits wird α dadurch bei einer rückgängigen Bewegung leichter wieder in ihre ursprüngliche verticale Stellung gebracht. Das ganze System erhält hierdurch in sich eine vollständige Beweglichkeit.
