Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Fahrzeugdach der im Oberbegriff des Hauptanspruches angegebenen Art.The invention relates to a vehicle roof in the preamble of Main claim specified Art.
Such a vehicle roof is already known from DE 34 29 880 C2 is known, the roof shell serving different purposes roof modules can be inserted into the frame opening of the roof frame and lockable with the roof frame using snap locks are. This means that when the vehicle is first installed in the Automobile plant save considerable costs, because according to the be provided only a roof module that must either as a simple roof shell, as a roller roof, as a roof shell with a sun roof, as a beaded roof shell with a roof ling, can be designed as a ski rack or as a roof container. At least the roof shell of the different modules exists thereby from a plastic injection molded part.
The disadvantage of the known vehicle roof with replacement cash roof module the fact that a variety of Roof modules must be kept ready for all combinations to be able to meet variations. So could the roof shell with Roof rails as well as integrated sunbathing with a ski rack have roof. As a result, the cost advantage during the first month days are largely consumed or even overcompensated. With regard to the lightweight construction sought in automotive engineering is also problematic that those designed for roof loads Roof modules must be designed accordingly stiff and thus have a relatively high weight.
It is also difficult from a manufacturing point of view, different Mo dule in a roof frame with manufacturing tolerances Body. Frequently z. B. as a result of over their length different widths of the connection joints to the roof frame a lower quality impression arise.
The invention has for its object a vehicle roof Generic type to further develop that Roof shell with high accuracy of fit inexpensively with the Roof frame of the vehicle can be connected.
The achievement of this task results from the Features of the main claim.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are derived from the rest Claims.
The roof shell can be made from a dimensionally drawn sheet consist of shell, the lateral edge areas in cross section seen bent in an L-shape and towards one towards the bottom the recessed footbridge of the side roof frame. Such a joining channel limiting designs are at ge welded roof structures known per se.
So that there are no additional fastening elements for the cover strips tel are required, the screw fasteners of the Roof shell to be used to determine the cover strips.
For additional sealing of the screw attachment points or the joining lines of the roof frame and roof shell to be dispensed with if the cover strips act as seals are trained.
If loads are to be transported on the vehicle roof, read preferably screw fastening points for the roof Provide half halves, the corresponding screw at the same time are the anchor points of the roof shell. This allows Save screw fasteners. They also support each other Roof railing halves over the support web directly on the roof frame. The roof shell itself does not have to be stiffer than with a vehicle roof without roof rails. Despite the roof rails can do this via cover strips and bevelled edges areas of the roof shell with this to a pre-assembled construction be connected.
The assembly can also include a sliding cover with which opening or closing a roof opening. The Roof shell in the arrangement area of the roof opening a relatively ge rings have thickness if the sliding cover between the at half of the roof rails is sliding.
The roof rail halves preferably have a sliding guide elongated base.
By lowering the sliding cover, one remains closed position possible in the roof opening.
With space-saving measures for water drainage and a seal arrangement allows water to penetrate into the interior prevent effectively.
The following is an embodiment of the invention based on a graphic representation explained in more detail.
In der Darstellung zeigen:The illustration shows:
Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf ein Fahrzeugdach mit montierter Bau einheit aus Dachschale, Dachreling und Schiebedach, Fig. 1 is a plan view of a vehicle roof with a mounted construction unit of the roof shell, roof rails and roof,
Fig. 2 einen Vertikalschnitt gemäß der Linie II-II in Fig. 1, und Fig. 2 is a vertical section along the line II-II in Fig. 1, and
Fig. 3 einen Vertikalschnitt entlang der Linie III-III in Fig. 2. Fig. 3 is a vertical section along the line III-III in Fig. 2.
A vehicle roof 1 of a motor vehicle body comprises a roof frame which is composed of lateral roof frame profiles 2 , a roof frame profile 3 extending above the windshield and a roof frame profile 4 extending above the rear window. The roof frame consists of Stahl-Hohlpro filen, which are welded together in the area of the roof corners as well as with A-pillars 5 , B-pillars 6 and C-pillars 7 to form a rigid roof construction. A deep-drawn roof shell 8 is inserted into the frame opening of the roof frame and screwed to the roof frame profiles 2 , 3 and 4, not visible from the outside. Since the roof shell 8 covers with its front or rear end region the roof frame profiles 3 and 4, which spring back downward relative to the upper edge of the side roof frame 2 and ends only at a sealing seat for the windshield or rear window. On both sides of the roof shell 8 between the water and the side roof frame profiles 2, a substantially straight joining channel 9 with a largely constant hollow cross section is let into the roof surface, along which the roof shell 8 is screwed to the roof frame profiles 2 . The joining channels 9 are each largely filled out by means of a cover strip 10 , which ends at the rear end of the vehicle roof 1 . At the front, the cover strips 10 extend beyond the roof surface, being fastened along the side edges of the windshield to the A-pillars 5 and being designed as a wind deflector profile, which is intended to prevent excessive contamination of the associated side windows in a known manner.
An associated half of a roof rail 11 is screwed to the vehicle roof 1 through the cover strips 10 and extends approximately over the entire length of the roof. The roof rail halves lie with an elongated base 12 over their entire length on the associated edge region of the roof shell 8 together with the associated cover strip 10 .
In the front roof area, a rectangular roof opening 13 is recessed from the roof shell 8 , which is covered by a sliding cover 14 recessed in the roof opening 13 . Compared to the top of the sliding cover 14 downwards, two guide bolts 15 each protrude from the lateral end faces of the sliding cover 14 , which project laterally and engage with their end region in a guide groove 16 which is recessed from the assigned base 12 of the roof railing halves. When the sliding cover 14 is closed, the guide bolts 15 lie in an end region of the guide groove 16 which is angled vertically downward and is recessed from an associated extension projecting from the underside of the base 12 . The two end regions of the guide groove 16 open above the roof level in the approximately horizontally extending along the bases 12 longitudinal sliding area of the guide groove 16 . Thus, the extensions of the base 12 and the guide pins 15 in the roof shell 8 from are lowered, are located under adjustment to the ecknah arranged guide pin 15 corresponding recesses 17 in the roof opening 13 limiting the scope of the roof shell. 8 Between the bases 12 of the roof rails 11 and the opposite of them the cover face, these recesses 17 are closed with closed sliding cover 14 by form-fitting cover plates 18 which protrude from the end faces of the sliding cover 14 .
In the lowered closed position, the slide cover 14 is held by one or more locks of a conventional type, which are not shown.
These interlocks or interlocks must be actuated to open the sliding cover 14 before it can be raised under the vertical guidance of the guide bolts 14 in the vertical end regions of the guide grooves 16 until it reaches a lifting position lying above the roof shell level. Then the sliding cover 14 can be moved backwards, the guide bolts 15 sliding in the longitudinal displacement region of the guide grooves 16 backwards. In the open position, the sliding cover 14 can be locked by holding means, not shown. In addition, the sliding cover 14 can also be locked in any partially deferred position.
In connection with the sectional representations according to FIGS. 2 and 3 it can clearly be seen that the end region of the guide grooves 16 is partially recessed from an extension of the base 12 protruding into the recess 17 . Alternatively, it would also be conceivable to use the recesses 17 themselves for lowering the associated guide pin 15 .
In Fig. 2, a screw attachment point of the roof rails 11 is also shown, of which over the length of the two base 12 ver shares a sufficient number is provided to achieve a very sta ble attachment and at the same time to connect the roof shell 8 with the side roof frame profiles 2 . For this purpose, are under axial support on the base 12 of the bottom through-bolts 19 from which pass through the approximately dovetail-shaped hollow cross-section of the joining channel 9 and thus also the the joining channel 9 substantially fills the cover strip 10 in the same rich Mitt. The bottom of the joining channel 9 is formed by a laterally projecting sheet metal fold of the roof shell 8 and a sheet metal fold of the roof frame profile 2 projecting parallel thereto, the sheet fold of the roof shell 8 resting flat on the opposite projecting sheet metal fold of the roof frame profile 2 . Both sheet metal folds are provided with holes one above the other. Through which the threaded shaft of the push-through screw 19 protrudes. By unscrewing an associated Ge nut 20 from the interior of the base 12 is clamped in its resting position on the roof shell 8 and cover strip 10 , cover strip 10 and roof shell rebate between the roof frame rebate and base 12 are clamped. Thus, over the reliable threadedly through-bolt 19 in connection with the not shown further through-bolts 19 along the two joining channels 9 and the roof shell 8 with the lateral roof frame profiles. 2 Since the cover strips 10 consist of rubber-elastic plastic or rubber, the passage of water through the joining channels 9 into the interior is effectively prevented.
In order to achieve that in the closed sliding lid 14 or upon opening of the sliding cover 14 no water can pass into the interior, the roof opening 13 is along its Innenum caught by an approximately vertically raised wall of a fixed below the roof shell 8 water channel 21 delimited, in which circumferential hollow cross section engages a downwardly angled Randbe rich of the sliding cover 14 . The intervention takes place with play under labyrinthine height overlap of the wall and edge area. At the closed sliding cover 14 , a narrow parting line adjoins the peripheral edge of a folded edge 22 of the opening frame of the roof shell 8 , which adjoins approximately flush with the top of the sliding cover 14 and covers a partial cross section of the upwardly open water channel 21 . This narrow parting line is sealed by a hollow profile seal 23 when the sliding cover 14 is closed, the hollow profile seal 23 being placed on the outer circumference of the sliding cover 14 .
