Der Zweck vorliegender Erfindung ist, ein Billard zu schaffen, welches sich schnell und leicht in eine Speisetafel und ebenso leicht wieder in ein Billard verwandeln läfst.
Die Zeichnungen stellen dar:
Fig. ι und 2 das Billard als Speisetafel,
Fig. 3 und 4 das Billard fertig zum Spielen, Fig. 5, 6 und 7 das Gelenkband mit Schlofs. Wie aus der Zeichnung, Fig. 1 bis 4, ersichtlich , sind die Banden B mit doppelten Gelenken C an dem Billard A derartig befestigt, dafs dieselben, heruntergeschlagen, mit der Billardoberfiäche gleich hoch stehen. Die Gelenkbänder sind mit Verschlufsvornchtungen s versehen, durch welche die aufgeschlagene Bande fest an das Billard gezogen und am Zurückschlagen gehindert wird. Jede Bande erhält zwei bis vier solcher verschliefsbarer Gelenkbänder, welche durch eine Zahnstange % gleichzeitig geöffnet oder geschlossen werden können. Dabei öffnet oder schliefst die Zahnstange einen am Ende der Bande angebrachten Riegel v, durch welchen die Banden gleichzeitig unter einander befestigt werden. Die Bewegung der Zahnstange erfolgt durch das Zahnrad R, Fig. 4, mit einem vierkantigen Drücker.The purpose of the present invention is to provide a billiard table which can be quickly and easily converted into a dining table and just as easily converted back into a billiard table.

Das durch Fig. 5 bis 7 dargestellte Schlofs besteht aus einer Nufs n, welche lose in einem Zahnradsegment r sitzt. Diese Nufs fällt bei heruntergeschlagenen Banden zurück, wie in Fig. 5 dargestellt, bei aufgeschlagenen Banden fällt dieselbe durch das Gelenk c hindurch und fafst mit den Ansätzen α unter das Band C₁, sobald es durch die Zahnstange \ und das Zahnradsegment r herumgedreht wird, dabei die beiden Bänder des Gelenkes fest zusammenpressend , wie in Fig. 7 dargestellt. Durch eine Drehung löst man demnach die Bande, so dafs dieselbe heruntergeschlagen werden kann, und ebenso wird die heraufgeschlagene Bande durch eine einfache Drehung von R wieder befestigt. Das zur Speisetafel hergerichtete Billard wird mit einem Wachstuch überdeckt, damit das Billardtuch nicht beschmutzt werden kann.The lock shown by Fig. 5 to 7 consists of a Nufs n, which sits loosely in a gear segment r.
