Description

Production of blind embossing forms based on one obtained from the original 1Vlatrize. The invention relates to the manufacture of blind embossing plates according to the existing metal stamping mold to add any number of such replacement plates so that you can then mint the works three, four or more pieces at once can and has a lower manufacturing cost than engraved plates. The replacement panels have proven themselves in continuous operation with up to 8,000 embossing prints. The replacement panels can be found in mints throughout the graphic arts industry and in bookbinders Find use. The procedure is based on a counter procedure. After a very sharp and hard die from the original brass or steel plate ('which must of course be present) has been made, hard cardboard will be in the Cut to size of die. Between these cardboards, which are glued together a piece of sheet metal of the same size is inserted between them to prevent warping to prevent. The cardboard and the sheet metal insert are then placed under the greatest possible pressure compressed. The die is then glued to the carriage of the embossing press, but hangs the compressed cardboard on the slide plate of the press and leaves glue both under gentle pressure. Shellac is then heated, which one previously melted in the form of a stick, and applies as much to the cardboard as is approximately the depth of the engraving. After evenly heating the applied Shellac is the press under gentle pressure after hanging the slide plate drawn in and left to stand until completely solidified, which takes about three minutes take. After removing the shellac that has been pressed out at the edges the die is separated from the countered plate. After trimming the edges The shellac record is heated again and pressed in to achieve a uniform To cause the edges to run away, so that there are no co-embossed edges in the later Work show up. The plate is then immediately ready for use. The manufacturing time of all attached pattern embossing of the plates requires approximately one year to one hour Time. There is also an advantage in reducing the size of plates after the Z 'experience, by making the panels so much smaller than necessary. You need the plates not to be made with all samples of the first board, but can be made with parts content with it. For the production of embossing matrices that is; 'experienced with shellac almost completely in agreement: previously described in agreement.
