Description
Beispiel.Process for the production of a water-soluble evaporation product made of latex. In further development of the process protected by patent 419658 the surprising observation was made that the production of resolublem Protective colloids suitable for dry latex, inter alia. for example soaps or similar ones Body, in their effect quite considerably through the addition of hydrocyclic compounds merden of all kinds. Tetra-, hexa-, methylhexa-, Decahydronaphthalene and cyclohexanol. The added hydrocarbons work not at all as a solvent. It is known that hydrocarbons under certain circumstances can increase the emulsifying power of other substances by using them as solvents Impurities that inhibit emulsification dissolve and thus switch off. at however, the added hydrocarbons have no effect in the present process as a solvent. In addition, a good solvent by no means inhibits coagulation of the dispersed substance. If you add a specifically good solvent to the latex for rubber, such as benzene, chloroform, etc., in the pure state, coagulation occurs a. So it is a direct reinforcement of the stabilizing forces of the added protective colloid, which is surprising because the addition of a solvent a ripening and thus reduced stability could be expected. Example.
5 parts of this solution are put into zoo parts of latex. This mixture will Evaporated in a vacuum dryer to yield a product that is totally in water is soluble.
