In a liquid filter unit, in particular for rainwater, having a sieve grate or loose filter material arranged in a filter housing having pierced walls or a coarse-grained filter cartridge, to create a larger sieve grate or filter material cross-section and also to remove slurries and similar contaminations substantially in a self-induced manner in the course of a flow deflection, at least the sieve grates (5, 14, 18, 19) or filters arranged on the inlet side in a housing (1) or a pipe (3) are constructed in a cascade shape. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a liquid, in particular Rainwater filter system, with sieve grate or loose in one Filter housing arranged with perforated walls Filter material or a coarse-grained filter cartridge.

Separation devices exist in such filter systems usually from a sieve grate and with adsorption filters from a filter mass covering the top and bottom Sieve grid with sieve openings. Is known from the DE-OS 34 13 413, 38 29 360 and 31 39 304, which are usually made of flat metal plates existing at an angle Arrange inflow or outflow. Especially with Rainwater filtering is the separating effect of the Filter mass not used optimally. Is known from the DE-OS 38 12 360 in a separating device from Solids from liquids a downstream Rectangular contours arranged horizontally in the filter housing or sieve grid with vaults. To clean the Sieve grid is a rotating the contours of the Sieve grids are provided with a correspondingly shaped scraper.

The object of the invention is a larger sieve or filter material cross-section To create separation device, which also silting up and the like impurities largely automatically away.

This object is achieved in that at least the upstream surface ( 11 ) of the sieve grate arranged in a housing or a pipeline or that of a filter cartridge is cascaded.

The advantages achieved by the invention are in essentially in the enlargement of the sieve cross-section to see in the sense of a better loading. Soiling and pollution become easier Way z. B. by directing the flow to the cascades avoided.

In the drawing, the invention is based on Embodiments of a rainwater separation device explained and described in more detail.

Es zeigen:Show it:

Fig. 1 ein perspektivisches Schema eines erfindungsgemäßen Regenwasserfilters, FIG. 1 is a perspective diagram of a rainwater filter of the invention,

Fig. 2 shows an inventive screen housing for use in the rain water filter of FIG. 1.

Fig. 3 eine erfindungsgemäße Siebrostkaskadenform, Fig. 3 is a Siebrostkaskadenform according to the invention,

Fig. 4 eine weitere Siebrostkaskadenform. Fig. 4 shows another sieve grid cascade.

In the rainwater filter according to FIG. 1, 1 is a flow-through housing, 2 is a door fastened to it with hinges, 3 is a rainwater downpipe that opens and ends in the housing with a rainwater inlet 4 into the separating space 6 formed above a sieve grate 5 with a rainwater outlet 7 to the further downpipe 3 in which a leaf trap 8 is arranged. In the filtrate collecting space 9 located below or to the side of the sieve grate, the filter water outlet is indicated by 10 . As can be seen further, below the rainwater inlet 4 a, the incoming rainwater hinlenkendes the grate guide plate 12 is provided. As can be seen, holding strips 13 are arranged on the left wall and on the bottom of the housing, into which either a single-layer or multi-layer sieve grate 5 or a filter housing 15 - Fig. 2 filled with filter material 14 and having sieve grids 5 and 16 at the top and bottom - To be inserted with the door open. The rear wall of the housing and the door represent a lateral closure for the sieve grids 5. The sieve housing 15 is held at a distance from the bottom of the housing ( 1 ) by feet 17 and the filtrate collecting space 9 is formed here.

As can be seen in the drawing, the sieve grids 5 , 18 and 19 are shaped into a cascade, the individual step walls of which are inclined downwards. Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the walls are still stages bulging convex or concave vaulted.

The rainwater flowing in through the water inlet 3 is directed in the housing through the guide plate 12 to the uppermost step of the sieve grate and flows, as far as it has not yet reached the filtrate collecting space from there, to the next step. A cleaning effect can also be achieved with a flow directed along the individual stages, even with larger amounts of rain. In the process, leaves and other contaminants washed away at the screen openings are carried away by the dirty water. Due to the large passage cross-section, the sieve grate and filter material are in any case less stressed, so that large deposits do not occur.
