Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung vor" Musterungen auf Textilien, Leder, Holz und sonstigen der Diffusion zugänglichen Stoffen mittels Färbens. Es wurde gefunden, daß in Kleister und ähnlichen Materialien gelöste FarbstofIle und deren Leukoverbindungen die Fähigkeit haben, bei ausreichend langer Berührung in Textilien, Leder, Holzund sonstige der Diffusion zugängliche Stoffe überzutreten, und daß diese Eigenschaft das Mittel gibt, die Stoffe mit künstlerischen, farbigen Musterungen auszustatten. Die Ausführung des Verfahrens erfolgt so, daß auf einem beliebigen Träger, möglichst einem solchen, der gegen die Bestandteile der in Frage stechenden Farbe indifferent ist, zunächst ein Abbild der gewünschten Färbung mit Farbmischungen, die als Basis Kleister und ähnliche Materialien :enthalten, hergestellt, und dieses Abbild sodann mit der Farbseite, in Gegenwart von Lösungsmitteln, für die Farbstoffe eine Zeitlang mit dem zu färbenden Mittel in Berührung gelassen wird, worauf der Träger mit dem größten Teil des weitgehend entfärbten Kleisters o. dgl. wieder entfernt werden kann. Wünscht man besonders scharfe Konturen, so kann es vorteilhaft sein, das auf dem Träger erzeugte Bild in an sich bekannter Weise vor dem Auflegen auf dir zu färbenden Stoffe zu trocknen. Man erhält so unmittelbar, je nach der Art des verwandten Materials, mehr oder weniger echte Färbungen, die aber auch wieder, soweit erforderlich, durch besondere Maßnahmen weiterhin fixiert und in ihren Echtheitseigenschaften verbessert werden können, wie beispielsweise durch Behandlung der Unterlage mit Fixierungsmitteln für ,die Farbstoffe entweder vor oder nach dem Aufbringen des Bildes. Bei Verwendung von Küpenfarbstoffen kann man auch zur Erzielung einer sorgfältigen und einwandfreien Durchfärbung in analoger Weise Lösungen von Reduktionsmitteln, wie Hydrosulfit, benutzen.Process for the production of "patterns on textiles, leather, wood and other substances accessible to diffusion by means of dyeing.
