Im Verdampfer wird dieser Prozeßluft Energie entzogen, wodurch eine Abkühlung und damit verbunden die erforderliche Entfeuchtung erreicht wird. Nach dem Verdampfer passiert die Prozeßluft den Kondensator und wird dort wieder auf ihre Ausgangs- bzw. Betriebstemperatur erwärmt. Alle gezielten Vorgänge des Wärmetauschens erfolgen bei einem solchen Wärmepumpenkreis in Verbindung mit dem Arbeitsmittel im Wärmepumpenkreislauf und müssen letztlich von der Wärmepumpe allein geleistet werden.A tumble dryer of this type is known from DE 40 23 000 A1 known. Der Kältekreislauf 2 des Wärmepumpenkreises enthält einen Verdampfer 3, einen diesem nachgeordneten Kondensator 4 (Verflüssiger) und einen Kompressor 5 sowie ein Expansionsventil 6. Im Zuge des Prozeßluftkanals 7 ist ein elektromotorisch angetriebenes Gebläse 8 geschaltet, das den Prozeßluftstrom im Prozeßluftkanal 7 im Umlauf hält. Weiterhin ist neben dem Verdampfer 3 und dem Kondensator 4 als weitere Einrichtung im Prozeßluftkanal 7 zweckmäßig ein Vorwärmetauscher 9 vorgesehen, der strömungstechnisch sowohl dem Verdampfer 3 als auch dem Kondensator 4 vorgeschaltet ist.The dryer in question with a heat pump circuit has a drivable laundry drum 1 for receiving the laundry to be dried, through which a hot air stream (process air stream) flows according to the arrows. Die die Wäschetrommel 1 über den Prozeßluftkanal 7 verlassende feuchtwarme Prozeßluft gelangt zuerst zum Vorwärmetauscher 9 und wird nach Passieren des Vorwärmetauschers dem nachgeschalteten Verdampfer 3 zugeführt. Nach Passieren des Verdampfers 3 wird der Prozeßluftstrom wiederum über den Vorwärmetauscher 9 geleitet und danach erst dem Kondensator 4 zugeführt. Da der Prozeßluftstrom im Verdampfer 3 eine erhebliche Abfühlung erfährt, ist er aufgrund der eingetretenen Temperaturdifferenz in der Lage, im Vorwärmetauscher 9 den gewünschten Wärmetausch in Gang zu setzen. Der Prozeßluftstrom wird vor Eintritt in den Verdampfer 3 und damit außerhalb des Wärmepumpenkreislaufs (Kältekreislauf 2) im Vorwärmetauscher 9 zunächst abgekühlt, was dann zu einer Entlastung des Verdampfers 3 führt. Vor Eintritt des Prozeßluftstromes in den Kondensator 4 wird dieser im Vorwärmetauscher 9 entsprechend wieder vorgewärmt, was wiederum eine Entlastung des Kondensators mit sich bringt. Durch eine derartige Ausgestaltung der Wärmepumpenanlage sowie Prozeßführung wird eine erhebliche Leistungssteigerung in dieser Anlage erreicht und damit der Wäschetrocknungsprozeß optimiert.The moist, warm process air leaving the laundry drum 1 via the process air duct 7 first reaches the preheater 9 and is passed to the downstream evaporator 3 after passing through the preheater.
