Claims (11)

1. Verfahren zur Kontrolle der Gültigkeit vorgeschriebener Zeichen an Kraftfahrzeugen, die zum einen den Zeitpunkt der nächsten Untersuchung angeben, zum anderen den Gültigkeits­ bereich des Zeichens charakterisieren, dadurch gekennzeich­ net, daß jedes, einen Kontrollpunkt passierende Fahrzeug auf das Vorhandensein mindestens eines in Bezug auf das Fahrzeug ortsdefinierten, vorgeschriebenen Zeichens geprüft wird, daß die Prüfung jedes der vorgeschriebenen Zeichen automatisch erfolgt und die Gültigkeit sowie den Geltungs­ zeitraum des Zeichens einschließt, daß bei ungültigen und/ oder nichtvorhandenen Zeichen das Kraftfahrzeug-Kennzeichen des zugeordneten Fahrzeug registriert wird, daß für den mittels dem Kraftfahrzeug-Kennzeichen festgestellten Fahr­ zeughalter die Einholung aller nichtvorhandenen oder ungül­ tigen vorgeschriebene Zeichen veranlaßt wird.1.
