Die Schraube 60 durchgreift hier bei wenigstens das eine Langloch 58 des entsprechenden Sei tenteiles 18, 20 bzw. Abschlußteile 26 sowie die Bohrung 56 des Verbindungselementes 28. Das flächi ge Teil 66 der Dichtung 64 liegt auf der Oberkante 70 des Verbindungselementes 28 auf und unter greift gleichzeitig die Unterseiten 72 der beiden Oberteile 22. Das von dem Teil 66 hervorspringende Teil 68 der Dich tung 64 kommt zwischen den beiden Stirnkanten 74 der Ober teile 22 zur Anlage. Um eine fugenlose, zudem flächenbün dige Arbeitsfläche zu erhalten, ragt das Teil 68 der Dich tung 64 mit seinem dem Teil 66 der Dichtung 64 abgewandten Ende nicht über die Oberflächen 76 der Oberteile 22 hinaus. Das Teil 68 ist insoweit zu den Oberflächen 76 der Obertei le 22 bündig. Auf diese Weise läßt sich eine einheitliche, zusammenhängende Arbeitsfläche erhalten, welche zudem im Bereich zweier benachbarter Gegenstände 12 vollständig abgedichtet ist.In FIG. 3, a second embodiment is shown, which substantially coincides with that of FIGS. 1 and 2. Auch vereinfacht sich hierdurch die Montagearbeit erheblich. Zudem kann das Verbindungsele ment 28 weiterhin mit einer den Seitenteilen 18, 20 bzw. Anschlußteilen 26 der beiden Gegenstände 12 zugewandten Beschichtung (ebenfalls nicht dargestellt) aus elastischem Material, wie Gummi versehen sein. Die Schraube 60 wird zu diesem Zweck zunächst durch das Langloch 58 und sodann durch die Bohrung 56 durchgesteckt und mit einer nicht nä her dargestellten Mutter gekontert. Ebenso ist es denkbar die Bohrung 56 mit einem Gewinde entsprechend der Schraube 60 zu versehen und die Schraube 60 somit unmittelbar an dem Verbindungselement 28 zu befestigen. Daraufhin wird der linke Gegenstand 12 am Verbindungselement 28 entlang von vorn in Richtung des einen Endes 32 des Verbindungselemen tes 28 verschoben, bis die an der Rückseite 14 des linken Gegenstandes 12 angebrachte Hinterschneidung 38 in den lin ken Haken 36 eingreift. Der Exzenter 52 wird nun durch die Bohrung 42 in dem seitlichen Abschlußteil 26 des linken Ge genstandes 12, durch das Langloch 40 in dem anderen Ende 34 des Verbindungselementes 28 und schließlich durch die Boh rung 42 in dem seitlichen Abschlußteil 26 des rechten Ge genstandes 12 durchgesteckt, mit einer Unterlegscheibe 48 versehen und über die Mutter 46 gekontert. Durch geeignete Einstellung des Exzenters 52 wird das in der Stoßnaht 30 positionierte Verbindungselement 28 in Richtung seiner Längserstreckung entsprechend Pfeil 50 bewegt. Hierdurch werden gleichzeitig die beiden Gegenstände 12 miteinander verspannt. Anschließend ist die Mutter 46 noch zu sichern.
