Inclined tube boiler with two transverse upper boilers. With a sloping boiler,
in which steam exhaust pipes and the downpipes in the same transverse
Open upper boiler and with a second transverse upper boiler for enlargement
the water content and the evaporation surface is arranged, it is difficult to
to include this second upper boiler in the water circulation that also in the
Warm-up time, the boiler is heated evenly. Steam generating pipes
one does not like to flow into this second upper kettle in order to reduce the water content
to keep calm and to use the steam room as a steam drying room for the from
to use the first upper boiler overflowing wet steam. On the other hand, the water content soot
can be warmed up just as quickly as that of the first upper boiler, otherwise the im

stays cold. This results in unfavorable thermal stresses, particularly in the case of high pressure boilers
must be avoided:: .q According to the invention, during the heating-up time
a thorough exchange of the water content of the two upper boilers results in
that through them by means of a pump and a connecting pipe a circuit
of the water is generated. As soon as the boiler is at full pressure and accordingly
Once the temperature has been reached, the pump can be switched off because there are now temperature differences
can no longer occur.
In the drawing, such a boiler is shown in Fig. R in a vertical longitudinal section, in Fig. 2 in a plan view in simple lines and omitting all masonry. The water tube bundle a opens into the chamber b at the front and into the chambers c at the back, the steam-water mixture being discharged through the tubes d into the upper boiler e , while the falling water is fed back through the tubes f to the chambers c. The upper boiler g is connected to the upper boiler e by a laterally arranged pipe h and also carries a downpipe i at the other end, which leads to a lateral chamber c and which is protected against the effects of the heating gases. At the end of the boiler opposite the connecting pipe h, a circulation line k is arranged, into which a pump m is switched on, through which the water is pumped out of the boiler e during the heating-up time. The arrows drawn in drawing e show the direction of the water circulation. During working hours there will initially be a weak circulation from the tube bundle a through the tubes d into the upper boiler e and from there back through the downcomer tubes f into the tube bundle a, while there is no water at all circulating through the tube i, as there is a suction effect of the ascending boiler Water does not yet enter. As a result, the water content of the upper boiler g would remain cold for a long time, while steam from the upper boiler e is already entering the steam chamber of the upper boiler g through the steam pipes n, heating it and thereby causing the disadvantageous distortions of the boiler. Because the pump m pumps cold water from the upper kettle g into the upper kettle e, there is a certain increase in the water level and thus a reflux of the water through the pipe h to the upper kettle g, so that the temperature in both upper kettles is always the same. When the boiler is in full operation, it flows continuously through the pipe! a certain amount of water from the upper kettle g, which is always replaced by the pipe k from the upper kettle e, so that a constant temperature equalization takes place.
