Abstract

Hydraulic balance is achieved automatically in a heating system with several heating units of different configuration and with different hydraulic conditions. Before the heating system is handed over, all heating units (e.g. radiators) have their thermostat valves fully open and the resultant temp. is measured in each room. In rooms with too much heat the valves are throttled back until the correct temp., is obtained in each room. If all the valves are sufficiently open this setting is input into the central control unit as the max. setting for all further control actions. If the valves are not sufficiently open the operation is repeated with a lower source temp.. ADVANTAGE - Simple and foolproof without need for expert knowledge.

Description

The invention relates to a method according to the preamble of patent claim 1. To achieve its full effectiveness, each radiator must be in one A sufficient heating mass flow can be supplied to the heating system. There in a heating system does not have the same hydraulic conditions in all lines there is a hydraulic one after installation or before commissioning Matching required. If this is not done, then the unfavorably arranged ones Radiator insufficient or delayed with the heat transfer flow provided. This then leads to the hydraulically more favorable ones Radiators are flowed through and thus these rooms are preferably heated. The remaining rooms are not sufficient or only after the supply of the preferred rooms heated, that is, only if as a result of a single room regulation by the thermostatic valve the mass flow through the concerned Radiator is shut off. This not only has unsatisfactory heating results result. The control behavior of the entire system is also less favorable. The hydraulic balancing is intended to equalize the flow through all radiators are achieved.

For this purpose, all thermostatic valves are currently based on experience or Calculated values set a suitable maximum open position, the hydraulic unfavorable position of the radiator is greater than with hydraulically favorable position. This setting is then considered the maximum open position during the current Regular operation.

Such a manual adjustment depends on the knowledge of the fitter, by assessing the individual strands in terms of their hydraulic properties or calculated and then makes the setting of the thermostatic valves. Because of the effort is often not compared, which is then the most varied Results in the individual rooms and the unfavorable control behavior Has.

The invention was based, a simple method to achieve a task to create hydraulic balancing, which of special expertise is to be carried out independently and automatically. The aim is to achieve optimal results be achieved.

The method according to the invention consists in the application of the Claim 1 measures mentioned.

With this method, the thermostatic valves are no longer in accordance with the Assessment or calculation of the fitter more or less open and this value is then set as the maximum open position. Rather, they will initially all fully open. Depending on the hydraulic conditions arise different temperatures in the individual rooms, which in the most rooms because of their convenient location and the full opening of the valves will be above the desired room setpoint. After a stabilization period the valves are then closed so far in the higher heated rooms that the desired, uniform target temperature is set in all rooms. The now set open positions of the thermostatic valves, from room to room can vary significantly, thus lead to the desired hydraulic balancing. This degree of opening of the individual thermostatic valves is then sufficient Size as the maximum open position for all further control activities in the central Control device entered. When the system is started up later from cold All thermostatic valves are only in this condition up to this maximum open position open. Since the conditions are the same, all rooms are even with Heat supplied.

It is conceivable that when carrying out the method after the complete Open and then partially restrict some thermostatic valves on all Valves a very low opening position is reported to the central unit. This is an indication that the flow temperature was too high in this test. Now will first the flow temperature is lowered and the complete process sequence repeated. The opening position is now larger, so that this maximum Open position of the central device as the maximum position for the other Rule activity is entered.
