Verfahren zur Ausgleichung der Trägheitskräfte bei mehrzylindrigen
Zweitaktverbrennungsmotoren.
verloren.Procedure for balancing the inertial forces in multi-cylinder
Two-stroke internal combustion engines. Inc complete equalization of all inertial forces
and their moments, as well as second order in two-stroke internal combustion engines
with a small number of working and auxiliary cylinders, is not yet
known. With certain arrangements it is important to have part of the forces and de-Z,
to compensate for the other moments, but the rest remained free. The unbalanced forces
and their moments, also of the second order, caused many cases of practice
show - fluctuations in the foundation, 'the hull, the wagon frame, etc.
Because of these fluctuations, which can have an unpleasant effect on people
rapid destruction of the nearby buildings, the hull, etc.
be brought about. In addition, part of the performance goes as a result of these fluctuations
lost.
zwei Hilfszylindern. Auch andere Anordnun-,gen erfüllen denselben Zweck. Es können
z. B. die Kurbeln 1 und II Hilfskurbeln und die Kurbeln III, IV, i und --;
gleichgemacht. The method of complete equalization forming the invention consists in the following: the angles between the cranks of the working and auxiliary cylinders (flushing pump, compressor, etc.) are made equal and the cranks themselves have a mirror-symmetrical arrangement, i.e. the first and the last, the second and the penultimate are rectified and are equidistant from the center of the motor. The whole number of working and auxiliary cylinders is six, eight or more, but an even number. In the drawing, in Fig. I, an arrangement of cranks for engines with four working cylinders and two auxiliary cylinders is shown as an example. The cranks L II, III and IV are working cranks and the cranks i and 2 are auxiliary cranks. Fig. 2 shows the angles between the cranks for the engine with six working cylinders and two auxiliary cylinders. Other arrangements also serve the same purpose. It can e.g. B. the cranks 1 and II auxiliary cranks and the cranks III, IV, i and -; Be working cranks. Finally, the design can also be such that cranks I, II, III, IV and i are working cranks and crank 2 is the only auxiliary crank, etc. The weights of the linearly moving and rotating masses of the auxiliary cylinders (one or more) and their crank lengths are chosen so that they correspond to the weights of the corresponding parts of the working cylinders and their crank lengths. In other words, the product of the mass of the parts moving in a straight line and the crank length of the auxiliary cylinder should be equal to the product of the same parts of the working cylinder. Likewise, the product of the mass of the rotating parts and the crank length of the auxiliary cylinder is equal to the product of the same parts of the working cylinder. The lengths of the auxiliary cranks can be greater or less than the lengths of the working cylinders or the same. The ratio of the length of the connecting rod to the crank length is made the same in all cylinders, including the auxiliary cylinders.
bestimmt U', 2 . l' - 111 , COS a, wo u, die Winkelgeschwindigkeit,
aller Zylinder gleich: l% u. - r - in - cos a l#
- 171 - 1 cos a
i und 2 1 COS a =- 2 - COS a 2 COS (a + 12(P) 2 COS (a
+ 240') 0
nach den Eigenschaften der Funktionen des Kosinus. As is known, the first order inertial forces are determined by the formula U ', 2 . l ' - 111 , COS a, where u is the angular velocity, r is the length of the crank and in is the mass of the moving parts. a is the current angle of rotation of the crank. The product r - tn is the same in all cylinders and therefore the maximum value of the inertial force is the same in all cylinders, including the auxiliary cylinders. If the angles between the cranks are the same, the resulting inertia force for all cylinders is the same: l% u. - r - in - cos al # - 171 - 1 cos a z. B. for the position of the cranks in Figs. I and 2 1 COS a = - 2 - COS a 2 COS (a + 12 (P) 2 COS (a + 240 ') 0 according to the properties of the functions of the cosine.
Mitte links liegenden Kurbel ausgeglichen.
The result will be the same if the full number of cylinders equals 8 with the '\ squares. between the cranks # go ' , with io cylinders the resulting inertia force is also zero. In the case of the cranks arranged symmetrically to the center of the machine and aligned in the same direction, the moment of inertia of the first order for each crank located to the right of the center is balanced by the same but oppositely directed moment of the crank located at the same distance from the center to the left. So the resulting moment of the first order forces is zero. The second order forces are determined by the formula wol is the length of the connecting rod. The product is the same in all cylinders, including the auxiliary cylinders, in the engine with a number of six cylinders and more, but in an even number and with equal angles between the cranks.
z. B. für die Lage der Kurbeln auf den Abb. i und 2 COS 2 0, = 2 COS 2 a
+ 2 COS 2 (1 + 120') + 2 COS 2 (a +
The resulting force of the second order inertia is equal to: z. B. for the position of the cranks in Fig. I and 2 COS 2 0, = 2 COS 2 a + 2 COS 2 (1 + 120 ') + 2 COS 2 (a + according to the properties of the functions of the cosine. The result will be the same if the full number of cylinders is equal to 8 with the angles go '-, with 10 cylinders, etc. the resulting second-order inertial force is zero. The second-order moments of inertia are also zero, as is the case for first-order moments is the case, while doubling the «\ # linkel the mirror symmetrical arrangement of the cranks is not changed.
The inertial forces of the rotating parts are equal: where M, is the mass of the rotating parts of the corresponding cylinder. The product r - m, is the same in all cylinders, and at the same angles, between the cranks and their number six and more, the resulting inertial force is zero. The moments of the centrifugal forces due to the mirror-symmetrical arrangement of the cranks are also zero.
In other words, all the first and second order inertial forces and the centrifugal forces of the rotating parts and their moments are completely balanced, thus protecting the motor and its foundation from fluctuations. The deterioration in the uniformity of the engine drives caused by the collapse of some of the working cranks can easily be compensated for by installing a heavy flywheel.
