Description

Sekretentnehmer. Für den Zweck der Sekretentnahme aus Urethra und Cervix ist die Platinöse, die allgemein dafür verwandt wird, insofern nur ein unvollkommenes Instrument, als man mit ihr immer nur eine sehr geringe Sekret-menge, und zwar nur von einer Stelle der Schleimhaut, entnehmen kann. Einen weit besseren Überblick über die in der Urethra bzw. Cervix vorhandenenBakterien-besonders wichtig ist ja meist der Nachweis von Gonokokken bei spärlichem Vorhandensein bzw. bei einem Sitz in der Tiefe der Schleimhaut- erhält man, wenn man mit einem kleinen löffelartigen Gebilde an der ganzen Schleimhaut unter geringem Druck entlangfährt, das die Schleimhaut bedeckende Sekret damit abstreicht und dieses dann auf die Objektträger bringt. Aus dieser Erwähnung heraus wird nach vorliegender Erfindung ein solcher Sekretentnehnner hergestellt, der an beiden Enden je eine kleine, löffelartige Vertiefung hat (siehe Abbildung) ; nicht ganz in der Mitte des Instrumentes befindet sich ein Griff. Der kürzere Teil des Sekretentnehmers ist für die Harnröhre, der längere Teil für die Sekretentnahme aus der Cervix bestimmt. Dieses Instrument bietet also den Vorteil, gleichzeitig beide Sekrete zu entnehmen, im Gegensatz zur Handhabung mit der Platinöse, welche erst für den zweiten Gebrauch desinfiziert werden muß. Das ganze Instrument ist sehr handlich und wird aus vernickeltem Metall hergestellt; es läßt sich in geeigneten Lösungen (Lysol, Lysoform) desinfizieren oder auskochen. Da die Uffelchen sehr flach sind, kann man mit ihnen das entnommene Sekret auf dem Objektträger gut verstreichen. Ist nur sehr geringes Sekret nach der Entnahme im Löffelchen vorhanden, so kann man auch dieses aus demselben mit der Platinöse abnehmen und mit dieser verstreichen. Das neue Instrument läßt sich leicht auseinandernehmen, wenn die beiden Löffel durch Steckverbindung verbunden sind, und bequem in der Tasche mitführen.Secretion extractor.
