Gas und Luft unvermischt in den Ofen gebracht, so entsteht durch den freien Sauerstoff eine starke Frischwirkung, selbst wenn im übrigen ohne Luftüberschuß gearbeitet wird. Erfolgt aber eine vollständige Verinischung schon vor dem Eintritt in den Ofen, so verbindet sich der gesamte Sauerstoff der Verbrennungsluft mit den verbrennbaren Bestandteilen des Heizgases, bevor er mit dem Bad in Berührung kommen kann, und die Frischwirkung wird infolgedessen geringer. Diese Wirkung hängt wesentlich von dem "Leitpunkt der Vermischung von Gas und Luft ab, so daß hierdurch ein Rlittel gegeben ist, um die chemische Einwirkung des Sauerstoffes auf. das Metallbad in einfacher Weise zu regeln.According to the present invention, the above two effects are achieved united in your operation of a flame furnace.
