Description

Process for the production of printing forms for rubber printing and lithographic printing Pressure. The text and image printing plates for rubber printing are made according to the so-called Copying process produced in such a way that text and image are initially copied with zinc plate coated with a photosensitive layer. The light sensitive The layer is then rolled in with bold paint and developed, i.e. H. with water washed out. When washed out, the areas not hit by the light become the light-sensitive layer dissolved in water and removed. In a known method the areas exposed in this way, i.e. those Areas that should take on color when printing, with one against bold or 1 # al-he resistant resin or lacquer layer, e.g. B. with shellac, coated, namely this is done in such a way that the whole plate is poured over with shellac or that one applies the shellac by dabbing on the plate. Both types When it is applied, the shellac is applied very unevenly to the plate. The shellac is in some places in a very thick layer on the bold printing ink store so that the subsequent removal of the paint layer by pouring over it a paint solvent, e.g. B. Petroleum, this solvent does not penetrate the shellac layer penetrates. It is then often very difficult to remove the layer of paint from the plate remove. In addition, a lot of shellac is lost in both methods of application.

The inventor has now set himself the task of the disadvantages, the result in the known method of applying the shellac layer, too avoid. According to the invention, the shellac solution is atomized by compressed air and sprayed onto the printing plate.

With the new method, the thickness of the layer can be precisely regulated. It will therefore never be thicker than you would like it to be. It's going ok therefore little shellac is lost and the color solvent is thinned through Shellac layer easily penetrate, so that the removal of the paint is not difficult offers.
