Erdschlußrelais, die auf den aus dem Betriebsstrom des Netzes herausgeschälten Erdschlußstrom reagieren, sprechen natürlich auch dann an, wenn durch gleichzeitigen Erdschluß mehrerer Phasen der Erdschluß zu einem Kurzschluß wird. Die Ströme, die dabei auftreten, sind ein Vielfaches der im einphasigen Erdschluß vorkommenden. Dadurch wird die für eine ganiz andere Größenordnung des Stromes gedachte zeitliche Staffelung vollständig umgeworfen, d. h. alle Relais lösen praktisch im selben Augenblick aus und setzen einen viel zu großen Teil des Netzes außer Betrieb. Außerdem können die Erdschlußrelais unter der Einwirkung des Kurzschlußstromes nach der falschen Richtung ausschlagen und damit noch weitere von dem Erdschluß nicht betroffene Strecken abschalten. Da beim einphasigen Erdschluß die Uberstromrelais nicht ansprechen, kann ao man diese Nachteile erfindungsgemäß dadurch beseitigen, daß man die Uberstromrelais mit einer Einrichtung versieht, die im Augenblick des Ansprechens dieser Relais die den gleichen Leitungsalbschni'tt schützendien' Erdschlußrelais unwirksam macht. Man kann z.
