Das Wesentliche der in Fig. 1 bis 5 dargestellten Lehnstuhlconstruction besteht darin, dafs die Seitenwä'nde aus Scheeren gebildet werden, welche die Einstellung jeder beliebigen Sitzhöhe etc. ermöglichen und gleichzeitig gestatten, den Stuhl in einen sogenannten »langen Stuhl« umzuwandeln, wobei die unzuverlässige Festhaltung in bestimmter Stellung vermieden wird. Es geschieht dies unter Benutzung freier losnehmbarer Armlehnen, welche nur aus einfachen Schienen A bestehen. Die Armlehnen werden über die Enden der Scheerenglieder B gesetzt, wobei letztere mit Löchern α versehen sind, in welche die Zapfen b der Armlehne eingreifen, so dafs man beliebig verschiedene Veränderungen mit dem Stuhl vornehmen kann (s.
