Description

Bei Valtrac(R)-Ringen (vertreten durch die Firma Braun Dexon, 3509 Spangenberg, Postfach 50) handelt es sich um biofragmentäre Ringe, die einer rückstandslos standar­ disierten Darmanastomosentechnik dienen.
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Operationsinstrument, das als Zusatzinstrumentarium für die Anwendung von biofragmentier­ baren Valtrac(R)-Ringen zum Einsatz kommt.
Darm-Dehnungs- und Ringgrößenmeßzangen für Valtrac(R)-Ringe erleichtern durch speziell abgewinkelte und geformte Backen die Einführung in den jeweiligen Darmstumpf und eine Darmaufdehnung in mehreren Ebenen und vermeidet durch die Abwinklung eine Verletzungsmöglichkeit des Darmes. Mit Dehnung ist gleichzeitig eine Messung der erforderlichen Valtrac(R)-Ringgröße möglich und die Verwendung der richtigen Valtrac(R)-Ringgröße wird dadurch erleichtert. Die Darmdehnungs- und Ringgrößenmeßzange liegt als Einzel­ instrument vor und ist für alle Valtrac(R)-Ringgrößen ver­ wendbar. Ohne die spezielle Zange lassen sich die richtigen Valtrac(R)-Ringgrößen nur sehr viel ungenauer und unsicherer bestimmen, was zu einer Erhöhung der Operations­ komplikationen im Anastomosenbereich führen kann.
Die Darm-Dehnungs- und Ringgrößenmeßzange ist aus nicht rostendem Stahl DIN 1.4021, Härte 42-44 HRT hergestellt.
In der Literatur ist bisher ein derartiges Hilfsinstrument nicht angegeben.

Claims (2)

1. Darm-Dehnungs- und Ringgrößenmeßzangen zur Dehnung eines Darmsegmentes und gleichzeitigen Ringgrößenbestimmung für Valtrac(R)-Ringe, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß abgewinkelte Dehnungsbacken das für den Einsatz eines biofragmentären Ringes vorgesehene Darmsegment soweit wie möglich auf­ dehnen und gleichzeitig auf einer graduierten Skala die jeweilig erforderliche Ringgröße abgelesen werden kann.
2. Darm-Dehnungs- und Ringgrößenmeßzangen nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dehnbacken den Darm­ verhältnissen so angepaßt sind, daß Verletzungen bei der Dehnung nicht eintreten können. Die Skala ist so graduiert, daß die jeweilige maximal mögliche Ringgröße (Valtrac(R)-Ringe) ablesbar ist.
