Abstract

The high performance two stroke combustion engine operates with fuel injection. It has two rollers (3,4) of valve units which electronically, mechanically or rotationally alter the cross section of the scavenging port (10) and the outlet port (9). The first control roller (3) rotates to move the channel (5) to adjust the cross-section of the outlet and the second control roller (4) rotates to move the channel (6) to admit air to the cylinder. Description

Bei der Aufwärtsbewegung des Kolbens 1 wird Luft durch den Membraneinlaß 8 in das Gehäuse 13 gesaugt und gleichzeitig Öl mit dem Saugstrom durch den Anschluß 11 in das Gehäu­ se 13 geliefert. Bei der Abwärtsbewegung des Kolbens 1 wird die Luft im Gehäuse 13 verdichtet und zum Zeitpunkt des Druckabfalls im Zylinder 2 über die Überströmkanäle 7 in den Zylinder 2 gedrückt - der übliche Ablauf wie bei konventionellen 2-Takt-Motoren. Der Kolben 1 bewegt sich zum O. T. Einige Millimeter vor dem O. T. erfolgt die Zündung. Der Kolben 1 erreicht bei der Abwärtsbewegung den Auslaß­ schlitz 9. Zum Zeitpunkt des Unterdruckbeginns hat die Steuerwalze 4 mit dem Kanal 6 den Spülschlitz 10, der niedriger als der Auslaß­ schlitz 9 liegt, erreicht und geöffnet. Das geringere Höhen­ maß des Spülschlitzes 10 läßt den hohen Öffnungsdruck auf die Steuerwalze 4 nicht wirken. Die Steuerwalze 4 hat den Querschnitt so weit geöffnet, daß der Unterdruck im Zylin­ der 2 Luft in den Zylinder 2 in einem Strömungswinkel von 35° einströmen läßt und noch vorhandene Restgase ausspült. Gleichzeitig strömt die im Gehäuse 13 verdichtete Luft über die diametral angeordneten Überströmkanäle 7 in einem Winkel von 35° nach oben gerichtet, in den Zylinder 2 ein.
