Abstract

The "HandyKey" computer keyboard proposed increased working speed by making it possible to carry out a greater number of typing strokes per minute by eliminating the need for arm repositioning, finger repositioning and changes of position between key operation and mouse operation. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that the mouse functions are integrated in two separate control units (for the left and the right hand, respectively), and the five (or more) keys on each unit have multiple control functions (e.g. finger movement forwards or backwards, up or down).

b) Beidhändige Tastenbedienung je Einheit für jeden Finger entweder 1 oder 2 oder 3 Tasten-Schalter je Taste oder Mehrfach-Schalter je Taste. Je ein oder mehrere Handteller-Schalter. (Bewegung beider Einheiten zur Cursor-Steuerung benutzbar (wie als Maus-Prinzip bereits üblich.)
c) Arm-Motorik zur Positionierung /Tastenfindung nicht mehr erforderlich, Finger-Positionierung zur Tastenfindung nicht mehr erforderlich, Positionswechsel zwischen Mausaktion und Tastenaktion nicht mehr erforderlich.
