Mittels vorzugsweise einer PLL die als Filter 30 wirkt, liegt die generierte Schwingung im Fangbereich die ses Filters 30 oder außerhalb des Fangbereiches, wodurch auf die Eigenschaften des Mediums 10 Rückschlüsse gezogen werden können. So ist z. B. der Filter 30 derart einstell bar, daß mit zunehmenden Wassergehalt beispielsweise einer Bremsflüssigkeit, die generierte Frequenz im Genrator 20 aus dem Fangbereich des Filters 30 herauswandert, was in der Auswertung mit Anzeige 40 z.
